Paleontologist have long wondered at the evolution of tyrannosaurs between Stokesosaurus, a small tyrannosauroid that lived in North America 150 million year ago, and the ferocious tyrannosaurs dominating the late Cretaceous to the end of the non-avian dinosaurs 66 mya. In 2019, from the hot Utah desert, scientists announced they found another small tyrannosaur... a "Harbinger of Doom" that spelled the end for all other large predators into the North American Late Cretaceous. This fleet-footed tyrannosaur, living alongside and avoiding the jaws of the Middle Cretaceous top predator Allosaurus, was about 170 lbs (about the size of the average adult human male) and on the verge of becoming a full adult.

What does Moros Intrepidus, the tyrannosaur "Harbinger of Doom", mean for the Primeval Origins Epic Saga? Little directly. The Primeval Origins® ancient story takes place at the end of the Cretaceous 66 mya on the island continent of Dilmu off the western coast of what is now South America. During the Late Cretaceous, large tyrannosaurs, such as T.Rex and Tarbosaurus dominated North America and Asia respectively where the rest of the continents and regions on Earth were dominated by other large predators most notably Abeilisaursids such as the famous Carnotaurus, also known as the Raver on Dilmu. Still... a tyrannosaur "Harbinger of Doom" is pretty cool!
