A welcome letter and introduction to new visitors,

I am a prolific world builder with an insatiable curiosity for all things knowledge. That’s the best description of me, B.A. Vonsik. Inquisitive and self-learned from a very young age in many fields of science, especially those spectacular dinosaurs, and in history… especially our mysterious ancient world. Like many so curious, I ravenously consume knowledge... in all domains and in all media formats: books, articles (on paper and online), video, and more. My curiosity turned into a lifelong experience emersed in learning not only in the sciences but in engineering, social and political studies, and so much more. Of my most particular interest, are all things concerning our human origins. Where and when did we, homo sapiens, come from? What is our story? This passionate curiosity into humanity’s past led me in need to expand my search beyond the hard and “accepted” sciences and our history as taught… because I have found they do not have many of the answers needed to create a near-complete picture of humanity’s history or our origins. Worse, many in the sciences do not want those not part of their establishments and disciplines exploring into our past. Nor do these establishments of scientific disciplines and academic industries encourage studies beyond the limits they set. Truthful findings, when in conflict with the establishment’s “accepted” truth… dogmas, are ignored, dismissed, ridiculed, not funded, and, when needed, crushed. This reality has led me to places of knowledge beyond the “accepted” sources, into the speculative sciences, into our myths and legends, or what many call forbidden knowledges… knowledges that those in the established academic disciplines and communities dismiss as they are considered dangerous to speak of in a favorable light and very often viciously impugned. I find, in many instances, the difference between speculative knowledges with associated conclusions… theories and “accepted” science the “experts” declare “truths”… is almost always only a matter of time due to new discoveries.

My writing started when I was a kid but nothing serious for publication did I create until I was an adult serving in the United States Air Force in Air Force Special Operations as an aviator flying MC-130E/H Combat Talons as an Electronic Warfare Officer (or commonly known as an EWO). Then, I was greatly restricted on what I was allowed to publicly release and publish due to my military service and high security clearances. Not until years later when I was working as a principal systems engineer at Lockheed Martin did I make a serious attempt at becoming a science fantasy author.

What started my world building of the Primeval Origins® universe and the stories of this epic saga? A little book by the name Dungeons and Dragons Deities and Demigods that I was introduced to when a 4th class cadet (Freshman) at the United States Air Force Academy. Yep. I dun graduated from this prestigious institution becoming an officer and aviator in the United States Air Force. I and my friends, fellow cadets, played wargames and tabletop role-playing science fiction and fantasy games, D&D and Traveler mostly, all through those cadet years. Most of us continue playing to the present day. That Deities and Demigods book contained a fascinating and extensive collection of mythological information… many pantheons of gods, heroes, monsters, and magics that then all were considered figments of our ancestor’s imaginations, fantasy and fable storytelling, and made-up legends. Over the years since my first reading of Deities and Demigods (45+ years), I’ve amassed an enormous collection of knowledges, both sourced from the hard sciences and engineering and as well speculative information, sourced from many disciplines that have brought to light that our world's myths and legends are more history than the just made-up stories by stupid ancient peoples. Our ancient ancestors simply did not have the lexicon and languages in use today to describe what they observed and experienced. Mostly remembered through time by the numerous oral traditions and songs. Nor did they have the mediums (except stone-etched petroglyphs which there are many thousands around the world) to record their stories until the Sumerian civilization baked their knowledges and stories on clay tablets. The ancient stories were passed on generation to generation to generations through oral traditions and petroglyphs. It was only after, in the mid-1800s, with the discovery of the ancient Sumeria / Mesopotamian cultures and their clay tablets was our ancient past seriously studied and researched. Still, many who did study and research Mesopotamia and the Egyptian cultures dismissed their stories of ancient gods and heroes and creatures unbelievable as fables, myths, and legends, …as mere made-up fantasies. Not until present decades did curious and courageous individuals and groups of investigator-explorers and brave scientists take more seriously our myths, legends, forbidden knowledge (speculative sciences), and what has been termed “out-of-place archeology” for the things found that do not fit into the “accepted” and “declared” narrative of our planet’s and human history. The growing weight of these forbidden knowledges and associated thoughtful speculations filling the gaps in what is known, are the foundation to what I have assembled into a single story that spans millions of years and multiple civilizations, both on Earth and throughout our solar system and beyond giving genesis to the Primeval Origins® Epic Saga.

The Primeval Origins® Epic Saga is rich in all that I have described above. The Primeval Origins® stories are told through the eyes and perspectives of exciting characters that have their own origins played by real people who were players in the role-playing game campaigns I hosted over the years. The list is long of my friends and family, fellow cadets at the United States Air Force Academy, fellow military members of both me and my son, and defense industry professionals… all of them role-playing characters that have become the inspirations for the heroes and anti-heroes of the Primeval Origins® story emersed within our oldest and so very interesting myths and legends of our human origins… a science fantasy series that has won multiple literary awards (45 awards, so far). It’s one hell of an interesting mix.

Now, I welcome you, your friends, and family to the world… the universe of Primeval Origins® and the wonders it reveals of our ancient origins and adventurous future.
